Myeongjangsujejokbal

I visited this place after searching online because I was craving jokbal (pig's trotters). The atmosphere felt like an old-fashioned pub, but I liked that there were partitioned seats. The large and extra-large sizes use front trotters, while the medium and small sizes use hind trotters; naturally, the front trotters are tastier, so I ordered the large size as a half-and-half option. When you order, they provide lettuce wraps, ssamjang (dipping sauce), chili peppers, garlic, and salted shrimp paste. The radish kimchi and seasoned chives and bean sprouts were incredibly delicious. They also served warm seaweed soup, which was wonderful. They slice the trotters fresh upon ordering, so they come out piping hot and tender—so soft that they almost fall apart when you pick them up with chopsticks. The spicy jokbal has a sweet and spicy flavor with a hint of herbal seasoning and a rich umami taste. The skin was so incredibly tender and tasty that I couldn't stop eating it. It was great that they kept refilling the vegetables and side dishes when I ate in the restaurant, and the portions were massive, so I ate until I was absolutely stuffed. They also offer delivery.
