About 일식

Japanese cuisine has deep roots in Seoul, shaped by geographic proximity and a long shared history. Seoul-style Japanese restaurants range from affordable sushi conveyor belts and ramen shops to high-end omakase counters. Quality fish is flown in daily, and Korean chefs often put their own spin on Japanese classics — thicker broths, spicier condiments, and seasonal Korean ingredients woven into traditional recipes.

About Gangnam-Gu

Gangnam-gu is Seoul's upscale business and entertainment district south of the Han River. Home to K-pop entertainment companies, COEX Mall, and the Apgujeong-Rodeo shopping strip, it attracts young professionals, tourists, and K-drama fans. Restaurants here tend toward the polished and premium, with a density of international cuisine, high-end Korean dining, and trendy cafés.

Very dissapoiting. Additional star for staff-very nice. Food low quality. Even shrimp digestive tract wasnt taken off... octopus too hard. Do Not waste your time and stomach work....

The food here was not fancy but we just looking for a place that had udon for my son so we didn't expect much. But i guess the udon was not good as my boy who is a udon lover didn't finish it. But the one of the staffs was rude. We asked him to clean table as there was water on it, but he just opened the drawer and showed us where the tissue was. And we opened the drawer and did not close it fully, he just walked next to us and closed loudly. We didn't encounter this kind of service at other restaurants during our trip. And we had a two yo child and i asked for a high chair when i entered, she didn't pass me one and i cant see it in the restaurant so i assumed they didn't have any. But after the food was served and my boy couldn't eat well, my husband asked for it again then she just took one for us from the kitchen. This was the most unpleasant dining experience we had in Seoul trip.
