Jongno-gu is the historic heart of Seoul, containing Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, and Insadong's antique street. The area balances ancient and modern — traditional Korean restaurants, teahouses, and street food vendors operate alongside contemporary galleries and specialty coffee shops. Eating here feels like a connection to centuries of Seoul food culture.

View all →This is not Michelin level. Not by a long shot. Visiting from a wine region, we were VERY DISAPPOINTED. The wine selection was small and the servers knew nothing about wine. We asked for a non-sweet dry white chardonnay and got what we did NOT want: sweet and fruity. I suspect they didn't give us the wine we ordered and substituted for a cheaper white wine. We ordered a 750ml bottle which would normally serve 6 standard pours. We only got 3 glasses of regular sized pours. TERRIBLE wine service! They never showed us the bottle and I don't have a clue what cheap wine we actually got, but we paid a lot for what we ordered and did NOT get. The sushi was good and the flavors were fantastic. The sushi chef does not deserve the bad score. Sorry, chef. The location is very hard to find. It is in the basement of an office building and way in a back corner. Better signage inside the building would be helpful. The meager wine selection, terrible wine service, only getting half of the bottle we ordered was bordering on fraudulent. They do not understand wines at all and do not know what a proper wine service is. They should not even offer it if they're going to mess it up so terribly.
What a gem of a spot. We booked last minute same day online and actually saved 10% We got courses immediately as we sat down and pace was quick. We had perhaps 10+ courses in the first 30 minutes. Everything tastes fresh and surprisingly didn't feel rushed. This was a Wednesday 8pm seating They are located basement level B1
Spectacular Omakase with Chef Oh Seung Bo! It’s definitely a very solid omakase exceeding what I paid for. Chef Oh’s professionalism, warmth and hospitality definitely light up the occasion and everyone’s day. If every chef has his passion, all customers would be so lucky. I was a bit of a pain and asked for less soy sauce and the chef was really attentive on that. Note: Location - 1 floor downstairs of an old traditional food mall at a corner store. Reserve on catchtable for 60000won paid in advance.
