About Seongbuk-Gu

Seongbuk-gu is home to Bukchon's quieter neighbour and Seoul's most literary neighbourhood, with independent bookshops and traditional restaurants tucked between old residential alleys. Ssangmun-dong's street food markets and the traditional teahouses of Samcheong-dong are highlights of this culturally rich but less-touristed district.

What Visitors Say

I enjoyed the budaejjigae. There are a variety of budaejjigae and side dishes, making it easy to choose. The only downside is that one of the employees coughed while working, which was a bit annoying.

★★★★★JaeYoung Joo1 year ago

Since it's also great for solo dining, it's a great place to enjoy a casual meal of budaejjigae. The restaurant is located in a basement, so it's a bit steep, but it's not too much of a bother. Even if you're dining alone, you can still get a meal for around 11,000 won with a little extra sauce.
