About 한식

Korean cuisine (hansik) is built around balance — fermented sides (banchan), a steaming bowl of rice, and a main dish that changes with the season. Meals are served all at once rather than in courses, and sharing dishes at the table is the norm. The depth of flavor comes from slow-fermented pastes like doenjang (soybean) and gochujang (chili), which form the backbone of soups, stews, and marinades across the country.

About Gangseo-Gu

Gangseo-gu in western Seoul is a rapidly developing residential and commercial district near Gimpo Airport. The area has a growing food scene with a mix of established Korean restaurant clusters and newer commercial developments bringing café chains and international options to the expanding population.

What Visitors Say

This dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken) restaurant is located in the basement of the K Magok Square building in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, a five-minute walk from Magoknaru Station, accessible via Subway Line 9 and the Airport Railroad Express. This Magok branch of Chuncheon's famous dakgalbi restaurant offers delicious dakgalbi at reasonable prices. The self-service bar offers a convenient way to enjoy vegetables and water kimchi. The staff also prepares the dakgalbi for you, making it even more convenient.

Log House Dakgalbi Magok Branch is a dakgalbi restaurant conveniently located. Directly connected to the subway and shopping district, its biggest advantage is its convenient location, allowing you to visit without having to go above ground, regardless of the weather. Since the staff grills the dakgalbi directly, you don't have to worry about the cooking process, and can focus on chatting with your group. It's a perfect setting for company dinners or casual gatherings. The dakgalbi is generally quite flavorful. It's not overly spicy, but rather faithful to the basics, making it a great choice for casual dining. While the flavors aren't particularly impressive, the accessibility and convenience make it a worthy choice.

I just had my first taste of Log House Dakgalbi. It's been a while since I've had old-fashioned dakgalbi, and it's so delicious. The seasoning is just right, and the flavor is truly delicious. The fried rice is also a huge hit. I had a great time.
