About Yongsan-Gu

Yongsan-gu contains Itaewon — Seoul's most international neighbourhood — as well as the scenic Hannam district and Yongsan Electronics Market. Itaewon's food scene reflects its global community: Indian, Middle Eastern, African, and American restaurants share streets with high-end Korean and Japanese establishments. It's also where many of Seoul's foreign chefs have set up their most ambitious projects.

What Visitors Say

★★★★★sk shin “emotion of taste”8 months ago

The best sushi in Korea If you want to experience sushi that is even tastier than in Japan, please visit. Reservations are really hard to get, but give it a try anyway.

★★★★★배태천1 year ago

It's a quiet place, a hanok house in a park, so it has a tranquil feel. The food is clean and true to its reputation, and the service was excellent. I enjoyed my meal. The high price range and difficulty in making reservations, making it a high barrier to entry, are the only drawbacks.

★★★★★shiv v1 year ago

Undoubtedly the best sushi restaurant in Korea. The exterior features a tranquil atmosphere created by renovating a cultural heritage site, and the interior is just as impressive—clean, neat, well-lit, and well-organized. The luxurious service and management, befitting the high price point, are also satisfying. Chef Park Kyung-jae’s comfortable hospitality is also impressive. The sushi is soft yet the grains of rice are distinct. The vinegar and seasoning are not strong, but the soy sauce brushed on top is flavorful and pairs well with the sushi. The sushi pieces are on the smaller and thinner side. Given the very high price point, it offers service and food quality that fully justify it, making it a sushi restaurant you must visit.
