View all →The best sundae soup in Seoul, a must-try! Living near Aksu, a battleground for sundae soup, I've visited many famous places, but there's a hidden gem in Dobong that easily surpasses them all. While its location doesn't make it well-known on media or social media, it's always packed with locals. The sundae and side dishes served as a complimentary meal offer a superb balance of tender texture and savory flavor. The quality of the ingredients served at Yaksu Sundae Soup is incomparable. The sundae soup also boasts a broth made with just the right amount of perilla seed powder, which is endlessly added. The broth is perfectly balanced, even without the use of indiscriminate dadegi (dadegi). On the other hand, the kimchi is somewhat lacking, and the radish kimchi is a bit better. While this may be a slight drawback, the other excellent features make it worth the distance for sundae soup lovers.
Dobong Station. A famous sundae soup restaurant near here. The generous portions and delicious food always draw a line in the neighborhood. After 2 p.m., the restaurant is likely to close, running out of food.
