Best meal we had in korea in this trip ❤️ We ordered: tofu jjagle jiggae, cheonggukjang, sokuri tofu, and 250ml takju If you love plain tofu taste, sokuri tofu is the best ever. The sokuri tofu resembles fresh mozzarella when eaten with cherry tomatoes, but it will resemble cheesecake when eaten with blueberries. Truly the star of the show! Fantastic way to boast the quality of their tofu. If you like fermented soy taste (tempeh, nato), cheonggukjang is great for you. The sundubu is so flavourful although without any umami from meat in the soup.
The tofu tastes so fresh, flavorful and healthy. Texture is also quite smooth. We really appreciated the hostess coming over and serving us because we weren't sure at point to take it off the pot. I hope to come back here when we are in Seoul again.
