About Jongno-Gu

Jongno-gu is the historic heart of Seoul, containing Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, and Insadong's antique street. The area balances ancient and modern — traditional Korean restaurants, teahouses, and street food vendors operate alongside contemporary galleries and specialty coffee shops. Eating here feels like a connection to centuries of Seoul food culture.

Cozy small restaurant with a menu qr code on the table which will take you to an English menu that you can show the staff. We tried the raw marinated crab combo with stir fried pork for 3 people and it was tasty! A lot of side dishes too.

Foreigner friendly place with an English menu QR code provided! The staff were older Korean women who have opened the restaurant for 25 years! I’ve been wanting to eat this marinated crab for a long time and it did not dissapoint!! The crab was flavorful and soft. They have a lot of different sets for the lunch time and the price is affordable. Our set cost around 49,000 Korean won, it had two types of marinated crab, pork, soup, rice and side dishes.🤤

We wanted to experience old lady's traditional thistle rice set menu. It was so much fiod and so tasty. Starting with hot soft tofu and ending with bibimbob,it was very different and satisfying. I want to try raw soy crab next time.
