About 분식

Bunsik — Korean street-food snacks — evolved as affordable, filling fare for students and workers after the Korean War. Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), kimbap (seaweed rice rolls), sundae (blood sausage), and odeng (fish cake skewers in broth) are the staples. Most bunsik restaurants are fast, casual, and open late, making them a go-to for a quick hot meal at any hour.

About Geumcheon-Gu

Geumcheon-gu, home to the G-Valley IT district, has developed a food scene driven by its young tech-worker demographic — specialty coffee, quick-service Korean and international options, and after-work drinking culture around Gasan Digital Complex.

A pork belly, pork neck, and pork jowl, all in one serving. All the cuts were beautifully colored, and while the pork belly wasn't the most prominent, the lean meat and the fat were balanced, and the flavors were quite good, reflecting each cut's distinct characteristics. The sides were average, but the steamed egg I ordered as an extra was both visually appealing and delicious. The interior was clean and the staff were friendly. The only disappointment was that the self-serve vegetable bar wasn't refilled quickly. Perhaps this was unavoidable due to the price. Overall, I was satisfied with the meat.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! I loved the spicy cold noodles!

May 5, 2025 It's on the second floor of the Lotte Shopping Mall. The restaurant is spacious and reservations are available. There aren't many places these days that offer 200g per person. A 200g serving of pork belly costs 16,000 won. The meat is of excellent quality. You order at the kiosk, and additional side dishes are self-service. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the meat is affordable and high quality. I wonder why I didn't know about it before. Since it's right next to my house, I should come here often for gatherings.
