This Korean restaurant specializes in kimchi stew, located on a side street across from Gonghang-dong Cathedral. It's quite small, so the interior is cramped.
They offer kimchi stew, budaejjigae (army stew), and pork kimchi stir-fry. It's a chain restaurant, but it's located fairly close to the main branch. Kimchi stew is the main dish, and
the taste is decent. The pork kimchi stir-fry is also good, but the meat is a bit thick, so it's a bit heavy in one bite. The portions are reasonable for the price, and you can enjoy everything.
The owner runs the restaurant alone, but he's incredibly friendly. He frequently checks for side dishes and tries to give us something extra.
I often make this at home, so I don't visit here often, but if I were alone, I'd visit often.

The owner was really friendly, and I ordered kimchi stew, kimchi stir-fry, and rolled eggs. The taste and quantity were all excellent. I will definitely visit here again.👍

My wife had a blood test early this morning, so we went to Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital. She had so much blood drawn at the hospital... I thought I should buy some meat, but the restaurant was gone. ㅡㅡ On my way home, I remembered they sold kimchi stew, so I went to check, and it was open. ^^ It's a kimchi stew specialty place, but the original name is "Pork Kimchi Stir-fry."
We ordered for two. Rice is extra, but it's reasonable considering the current prices. They served five side dishes, and the pork kimchi stir-fry was diligently stir-fried in a small kitchen.
It's served on a square iron plate, and the portion is quite large. I wondered if two people could finish it all.
It's generous. It's domestic pork and kimchi. It's delicious. The seasoning is a bit strong, but the kimchi is well-fermented, so it pairs well with the meat. The rice was quickly cooked, moist, and savory. The extra seasoned clam salad was a bit fishy, but they really put in the effort to make it even better. I was a little disappointed that there was no soup during my meal, but they made a light egg soup and served it again. ^^ The owner said he was trying to make it like home cooking, and I could feel his sincerity.
They even provided canned pineapple for dessert, so I had a really delicious and filling meal.
Except for the meat being a bit chewy, it was great. I would definitely come back.
