About 한식

Korean cuisine (hansik) is built around balance — fermented sides (banchan), a steaming bowl of rice, and a main dish that changes with the season. Meals are served all at once rather than in courses, and sharing dishes at the table is the norm. The depth of flavor comes from slow-fermented pastes like doenjang (soybean) and gochujang (chili), which form the backbone of soups, stews, and marinades across the country.

About Yongsan-Gu

Yongsan-gu contains Itaewon — Seoul's most international neighbourhood — as well as the scenic Hannam district and Yongsan Electronics Market. Itaewon's food scene reflects its global community: Indian, Middle Eastern, African, and American restaurants share streets with high-end Korean and Japanese establishments. It's also where many of Seoul's foreign chefs have set up their most ambitious projects.

This is a nice place we tried for a Hookah in Seoul. I cannot compare to other hookah in Seoul as this is the only one we did However, friendly staff that can speak English. Please is cozy, hookah are nice. They use wookah brand shishas and quasar as heat managing device. Tobacco side, for the dark tobacco they have must have brand, and for normal tobacco ( blonde/Virginia) they have only Al Fakher at my visit’s time. I first asked if they have Adalya tobacco, they told me yes at first. Then I asked for love 66. It feels they heard it for first time so I asked which Adalya tobacco they had and they told me in fact they don’t have it as of now. Maybe out of stock during my visit, not sure. The menu has a margarita flavor when I asked it they didn’t have it neither. Hence I ended up for Al Fakher however will have prefer a better tobacco brands for Virginia / blonde. Anyway, the shisha was nice, flavored and staff came to check charcoal and changed it. We tried tea and this was very good as well It feels like a Russian shisha in Seoul, so I can recommend this place if you smoke black tobacco or are ok with Al Fakher’s tobacco. You can pay by cash and physical card. They didn’t accept Apple Pay when I asked for it.

I think the management changed in this shop. It used to be so good before and it was my go to spot. But yesterday I went in a long time, and it was not a good experience. The waiter was unfriendly, hookah took forever to come out, and hookah tasted bad. I think they use cheaper tobacco (like al fahker) and hookah was not prepared well. The vibe was weird also.

I was looking for chill quality Hookah spot in Seoul and this did not disappoint. The vibes are really nice, dark interior with nice music. I saw that this place has really strong Hookah and also highly customized which I would agree. They have some premium flavors and some normal flavors, I went with the Blue mint lemonade (definitely recommend) and I went with Normal strength. (they allow you to choose easy, normal, and strong strength) I believe this is how heavy the lay on the tobacco. As someone who normally smokes normal was good for me and it lasted 2 hours (probably could have went more) They use Wookah which is super nice, and they change coals often so I think it's a fantastic spot.
