When I want a hearty meal near Gaetong Station, I often go to Boseunghoe-gwan. I tried the Hangjeong Boiled Pork Soup this time because it was on sale, and it was really delicious. The Sundae Soup is also delicious, but the Hangjeong Boiled Pork Soup has really tender meat and a lot of it, so it's really delicious in one bowl. After eating a hearty bowl of rice with the soup, I ordered the Boiled Pork Set, which allowed me to enjoy the meat and sundae, which was really great! If you're looking for a soup restaurant, this is a must-visit Gildong restaurant.

While searching for a satisfying solo meal near Gildong Station, I stumbled upon Boseunghoegwan, a restaurant specializing in boiled pork and rice soup, known for its light yet rich broth. The restaurant's comfortable and welcoming atmosphere made for a relaxed dining experience. The use of fresh, HACCP-certified ingredients also ensured a high level of hygiene. The Hangjeong Boiled Pork Soup, a one-person set, was particularly enticing, with the chewy texture of thinly sliced pork and pork jowl perfectly complementing the meat broth. The included seasoning sauce and perilla seed powder enhanced the rich flavor of the broth, and the generous addition of fragrant chives left me feeling incredibly satisfied. The mild, yet salty kimchi complemented the soup perfectly, leaving me feeling satisfied until the last spoonful. In addition to the boiled pork and rice, the restaurant also offers a variety of other alcoholic beverages, such as sundae hungjeong boiled pork and squid sundae. I'd love to return for a casual drink with colleagues.

This is a great gukbap restaurant near Gildong Station. The broth is deep, rich, and very comforting, especially on cold days. The meat is tender with no strong smell, and the portion size is generous. If you don’t want it spicy, please let them know in advance.
