The food arrived two minutes after I ordered. The noodles were soggy, and the broth and filling weren't hot. It was just warm. They said they'd reheat it. They didn't even reheat it. The noodles were soggy, but they said they'd reheat it. I filed a complaint and got a refund. All of this happened in five minutes. I really wasn't going to give this place one star, but I have to. The interior of Bobae Restaurant and the sign that said it makes great jjambbong (spicy jajangmyeon) made me want to go sometime, and today was that day. I was debating between beef jjambbong and seafood jjambbong, but I ordered beef jjambbong, thinking it would have a rich, deep meat broth. It arrived in exactly two minutes. Faster than the 3-minute curry. I was puzzled. Did they bring back the cancelled item? I ate it. Just as it looked, the noodles were soggy, and the wood ear mushrooms on top didn't even taste warm. Doesn't it take more than two minutes to boil the noodles? I'd guess! They put the noodles in a bowl, topped them with oyster mushrooms, and poured the broth they'd boiled over. They definitely don't stir-fry them right away. I asked the server, and she said they stir-fried four mushrooms before serving them. Is that what you mean? This is really bad, and if someone came here and ate this kind of food, they probably wouldn't come back. This isn't jjambbong; it's noodles in a red broth.
