View all →I went without high expectations since it seemed like a neighborhood sushi place, but I was truly disappointed. The sushi smelled of cigarettes, and although they served us complimentary udon, the noodles were so soggy—like they had been boiled yesterday—that we had to eat them with a spoon. It was also unpleasant that they appeared right as we were leaving after finishing our sushi. The restroom was the absolute worst; it was filthy and smelled terrible. Perhaps because it is a low-cost neighborhood sushi spot, there were elderly men and women—likely on a date—who were very loud and boisterous, making it impossible to have a conversation with my companions. I would do my best not to go back. Finally, as I was leaving, I saw the chef sitting in front of the restroom smoking, and I saw the source of the cigarette smell in the sushi. It was a good experience.
