Known for Korean street food, this spot draws diners from across Seoul.
41 min walk from Yeongdeungpo Station Station.
Bunsik — Korean street-food snacks — evolved as affordable, filling fare for students and workers after the Korean War. Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), kimbap (seaweed rice rolls), sundae (blood sausage), and odeng (fish cake skewers in broth) are the staples. Most bunsik restaurants are fast, casual, and open late, making them a go-to for a quick hot meal at any hour.
Yeongdeungpo-gu's Times Square mall and Yeouido financial district generate a diverse food scene of department store restaurants, business lunch spots, and the Han River cycling culture that has made outdoor food and coffee culture a fixture of the waterfront.

The portions were generous, and they even gave me traditional wine. I enjoyed my meal! They also have a private room, so it would be great for a group gathering! I'll definitely bring my parents next time!
I visited Hasunok Hwanggeum Andong Gukshi, a great value restaurant near Mokdong Station. Everything from the side dishes to the food was clean, plentiful, and delicious, leaving me with a truly satisfying meal. This is one of the restaurants near Mokdong Station that I've recommended to friends with the least amount of hesitation. Both the gukshi and gukbap were delicious, and the boiled pork that came with it was a complete delight.
Craving a hearty soup near Hyundai Department Store in Mokdong, I visited Hasunok Hwanggeum Andong Gukshi Mokdong Main Branch. It was especially perfect for a winter evening. Andong Gukshi's noodles were thin and soft, blending well with the broth. Paired with the marinated lamb, the bowl was quickly emptied. Among the buckwheat jelly, boiled pork, and assorted pancakes I ordered for the Gangbok Jeongsik (Korean BBQ set), the buckwheat jelly, which was mixed on the spot, exceeded my expectations with its rich flavor and texture!
