About 일식

Japanese cuisine has deep roots in Seoul, shaped by geographic proximity and a long shared history. Seoul-style Japanese restaurants range from affordable sushi conveyor belts and ramen shops to high-end omakase counters. Quality fish is flown in daily, and Korean chefs often put their own spin on Japanese classics — thicker broths, spicier condiments, and seasonal Korean ingredients woven into traditional recipes.

About Gangdong-Gu

Gangdong-gu in southeastern Seoul is a family-oriented district known for its community markets and traditional Korean restaurants. Cheonho Market offers one of Seoul's best selections of traditional banchan, grilled fish, and home-style Korean cooking away from the tourist circuit.

There are lots of fashion shop. Food court is also very quiet. I love musinsa jacket. There is shoemaker shop too. This place manager was very kind. I appreciate for them.

The new Ikea store has had a couple of weeks since opening late last month. Located near the Han river in a mall complex meaning parking slots are in plenty. For this review, I want to start to point out certain customers. Some people visiting are putting way to much expectations to Ikea or other similar brands, not really knowing the concept of Ikea! I suggest, do some research for once! Also, it's not a playground for your kids, but same goes for adults too. The beds are for testing yes, not having a nap in them! Ikea is split over 2 floors and offers daily use furniture, appliances and other home accessories for an affordable price. As the brand is built on being affordable, marketing low prices. There are several showcasings and ideas however, more can be done. Plenty of items and way more affordable than other promoted stores or brands. Certain aisles are a little bit narrow and feel cramped. Music was at times annoying, if it is to set a shopping mood, consider changing it to something that triggers positively. No Ikea is complete without their restaurant and this one is a pretty one. Big and spacious with super convenient trolleys to carry your trays. What doesn't make any sense though is the four ordering machines. It just means you're either not expecting that many people or the manager in charge for this part of the logistics failed. I can already forsee how long the queue lines could get. Food wise, the Swedish meatballs, which is a signature dish was great! Finally, meatballs with something else than tomato sauce-base. Size is very small and the dish is expensive in comparison. Was it like in Scandinavia? No, not even close, but it is still brings me back home. What lacks is more diversity on the menu. Except from the meatballs, the other dishes are so boring. You can find it in almost any restaurant all over Korea. So when you push down the prices and portions, it's just a wast. *I tried the kimchi fried rice, what a disappointment. It was..... just not good at all. No joke, I can make a much better kimchi fried rice than this! Give me a chance and I will come and prove it! *mushroom soup, was good. More flavorful than what I've had lately. *ricotta cheese salad? Really? There are so many different kinds of salads you can make, and why not try something that could promote Scandinavian food a little bit.... *tomato spagetti, nothing special, typical korean dish these days.... Boring. However, again, prices are super affordable, and its nit like the food is bad, it's just what you find elsewhere. Enough about the food....... The logistics and management overall is still very unorganized. Even the line making for the snack stands in first floor, for ice-cream and the ordering systems there is just way opposite of what Ikea is all about in Scandinavia. Its almost like this place wish to showcase, lets show how we can take an easy concept and make it less efficient. Some of the managers for this location should be brought in to the hot seat! ASAP! I do understand, no business opens without any issues. Surely things will get better. Look past my negative comments and it is nice to have an Ikea store closer to home is great. The store itself overall is bright and brings a fresher atmosphere for shopping. Finally a store that stands out from the crowd, in a good way! 👍
