Rated 4.4 on Naver — very well-reviewed by local diners.
Known for traditional Korean cuisine, this spot draws diners from across Seoul.
2 min walk from Seocho Station Station.
Korean cuisine (hansik) is built around balance — fermented sides (banchan), a steaming bowl of rice, and a main dish that changes with the season. Meals are served all at once rather than in courses, and sharing dishes at the table is the norm. The depth of flavor comes from slow-fermented pastes like doenjang (soybean) and gochujang (chili), which form the backbone of soups, stews, and marinades across the country.
Seocho-gu — home to Seoul's arts corridor, the Supreme Court, and upscale residential areas — has a refined dining culture to match its address. Garosugil in Seocho is particularly known for its café-lined tree canopy street. Restaurants here tend toward the polished and premium, often with outdoor terraces and wine lists to match.

View all →For me, it is one of the best mandoo(dumpling) restaurant in Seoul, Korea, not to mention that it has been introduced by the Michelin guide for years. Even the portion is not on the generous side, Mandoo soup is very gentle and soothing, that makes you comfortable.
I had high expextations because it was a Michelin Guide restaurant, but it fell far short of what i expected. 14000krw for a bowl of dumpling soup is expensive and 28000kre for a plate of squid sundae is very high. Is it because it is in Gangnam or it is a Michelin Guide spot? I don't feel like I'll come here again. It's the kind of place we visit just once for the experience.
Authentic Korean food. Ojingo sundae is not served at many places; was a tasty dish for pescatarian.
