What Visitors Say

📍Overall Review It was a very old... old-fashioned restaurant with a classic feel. If you like this kind of retro, old-fashioned feel, you'll be very satisfied. 📍Food It's not your typical glutinous rice sundae, but rather a traditional Korean sundae, and there's a decent amount of meat in it. The broth had a nice, rich flavor, and the side dishes, like dried radish and pickled squid, were a nice touch. 📍Service There's no special service. As is typical with the ladies, they're just a bit too friendly, a bit rude, a bit tsundere, or something in between. You can help yourself to the side dishes. 📍Atmosphere It has that lingering aroma... that lingering aroma you get from a very old restaurant. Younger people might not like it, but surprisingly, there are quite a few students. There are both single and multi-person tables, but the tables are quite close together, so it feels noisy and crowded.

- Manbok Sundaeguk Main Branch - 899-5, Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul - A 24-hour sundaeguk restaurant with truly generous portions - I heard they recently opened a branch in Gonghang-dong... - I think this place is number one when it comes to generous portions. However, since the sundaeguk is a bit oily, it might be hit or miss for some people... As you eat, the greasiness starts to creep up. When that happens, just cover it up with the spicy seasoning paste... - Sundaeguk 10,000 won #ManbokSundaeguk #ManbokSundaegukMainBranch #YangcheonGuSundaeguk #GwanoCWiseGourmetLife
