The soft tofu stew at Kongbone Sootbone Gamjatang is truly delicious. Jongno Kongbone Sootbone Gamjatang is located on the second floor of the building next to Gukilgwan, straight from Exit 15 of Jongno 3-ga Station. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Because it was on the second floor, the air outside the window was breathtaking. It was nice to see all the staff smiling and working. Jongno 3-ga Kongbone Sootbone Gamjatang is open 24 hours. They even make their own tofu. Domestic soybean sacks are stacked in a corner of the restaurant. I ordered the perilla leaf soft tofu and spicy soft tofu, and they were both savory and refreshing. The soup is perfect for solo diners. They also have a variety of soups, making it a great place for group dining. The rice was truly delicious. Jongno 3-ga Kongbone Sootbone Gamjatang is a restaurant I would definitely return to for its delicious rice and soft tofu.

● November 10, 2024, this restaurant is located in Jongno 3-ga, Jongno-gu, Seoul. *Near Exit 15 of Jongno 3-ga Station, 2nd floor of the building. Visited in the morning. *Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. *Ordered Spicy Soft Tofu (9.0), White Soft Tofu (9.0), and King Dumplings (8.0). *The soft tofu with soybean paste was mild and tender, making it truly delicious. The meat dumplings were also filling and delicious. *The restaurant makes tofu in-house using fresh white soybeans imported from Cheorwon, Gangwon-do. *The side dishes, including kimchi, peppers, and onions, were fresh and delicious. *The owner and staff were very friendly, and I had a satisfying meal.
