Gukbap Jangin, located near Guro Digital Complex Station, is a casual noodle restaurant famous for its clear and rich gomtang (beef bone soup) and seolleongtang (ox bone soup). In addition to its signature gomtang (beef bone soup), the restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes, including Cheongdo minari gomtang (water parsley soup), yukgaejang (spicy beef soup), and spicy beef soup. Side dishes like braised pork (satae-boiled pork), fried dumplings, and a fried egg in sesame oil are also available. The restaurant also offers a solo drinking set (beef bone soup and a bottle of soju), attracting many office workers. Located on the first floor of 565 Siheung-daero, Guro-gu (within walking distance from Guro Digital Complex Station), it's recommended to plan accordingly, as there can be a wait during peak hours.

On April 11, 2024, I had a nasal endoscopy at Hana ENT Clinic in Yeoksam Station. After getting the results, I took Line 2 and got off at Guro Digital Complex around 12:40 PM. On the way home, I stopped for lunch at Gukbap Jangin Digital Branch. The restaurant was cozy, with a kiosk right next to the main entrance. I ordered at the kiosk and went inside. Shortly after, my gomtang (beef bone soup) arrived, a generous portion served in a large earthenware pot. I added a little rice and took a bite. It was delicious, and it whetted my appetite. The side dishes were kkakdugi (Korean radish kimchi) and kimchi. If I ran out, I could go to the side dish counter and get refills. The gomtang was 6,900 won, which was a cheap and delicious lunch. The menu also included spicy beef bone soup (10,000 won), seolleongtang (ox bone soup) (10,000 won), Cheongdo minari gomtang (Korean water parsley bone soup), and yukgaejang (Korean beef bone soup). On June 7, 2024, I went to Ichon Hangang Park and had minari gomtang (8,900 won per serving) on the way back. The minari flavor didn't seem to go well with the gomtang. I'd give it four stars for the taste.
On June 18, my wife and I went to Daerim St. Mary's Hospital and had lunch at Jangin Gomtang on the way back. Just like in April, I'd give it five stars for both taste and value.
On December 2, 2024, I got off at Guro Digital Complex Station and walked home. I happened to pass by this place and noticed that the prices for Jangin Gomtang and Minari Gomtang had both gone up by 1,000 won. I'm uploading a photo.

I wasn't feeling well today, so I just did a quick workout. I didn't feel like packing a meal for myself when I got home, so I decided to go to a Gukbapjangin restaurant I'd been seeing for a while. Not knowing what was on the menu, like an ENFP, I just went in without a plan. When I saw the kiosk, I thought, "Huh? Minari Gomtang?" For a moment, I thought, "What kind of hybrid is this?" But then I thought, "Minari in Gomtang?" It sounded good, so I ordered and went in. When my food arrived, I took a sip of the soup and wow! The refreshing aroma and flavor of the chopped minari blended perfectly with the clean gomtang broth. It was so delicious. It's been a while since I wrote a long review...
Personally, I wish there had been some pepper.
