Known for Japanese cuisine, this spot draws diners from across Seoul.
15 min walk from Yeonsinnae Station Station.
Japanese cuisine has deep roots in Seoul, shaped by geographic proximity and a long shared history. Seoul-style Japanese restaurants range from affordable sushi conveyor belts and ramen shops to high-end omakase counters. Quality fish is flown in daily, and Korean chefs often put their own spin on Japanese classics — thicker broths, spicier condiments, and seasonal Korean ingredients woven into traditional recipes.
Eunpyeong-gu sits at the northwestern edge of Seoul, where the city meets the mountains of Bukhansan National Park. The area has a quiet, residential character with a food scene that reflects its local community — traditional Korean home-style cooking, neighbourhood pojangmacha, and teahouses tucked between hiking trail entrances.

View all →This tonkatsu restaurant serves delicious, affordable pork cutlets. The portions are generous and affordable, making it a great option for frequent dining without feeling burdened! They fry the pork cutlets fresh to order, so the outside is crispy and savory, while the inside is juicy and tender. The restaurant is spacious, making it perfect for eating in, but I also see a lot of solo diners. I'll definitely be back for more! LOL
[Sponsored] It's hard to fry tonkatsu at home because of the oil splashing, but thanks to Insaeng Tonkatsu, I can eat delicious tonkatsu at home, so I'm happy!!! The tonkatsu is big and soft, so it's so good to eat! I had it fried and packaged, and it was crispy and delicious~ I think the biggest advantage of Insaeng Tonkatsu packaged food is that you can eat such delicious tonkatsu without having to fry it yourself!! I have to go there again^^
The owner is super friendly, so I feel great every time I go. The prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious!! The restaurant is quiet, and it's great for takeout or eating in. I highly recommend the galbi katsu and cheese katsu!!
