The food and service were both excellent. The budaejjigae was so generous and rich, I was amazed with the first spoonful. The ingredients—ham, sausage, vegetables, tofu—were fresh, and the portions were generous, making it perfect for office lunches or company dinners. The ramen noodles and rice were also free and unlimited. Above all, the owner was incredibly friendly, making my meal enjoyable. Even though it was my first time, he treated me warmly, as if I were a regular, which left a lasting impression. This place has it all: delicious food, reasonable price, and friendly service. Every time I go, the food is delicious. The owner and staff are all so friendly. It's on a whole other level of delicious compared to chain budaejjigae. This is the best place for budaejjigae. The noodles and ramen are delicious, as they offer unlimited refills. The generous portions of ham make it even more filling. If you go in the summer, they serve mini buckwheat noodles instead of mini noodles, which is incredibly delicious.

For lunch, most people eat budaejjigae, and for dinner, they have duruchigi or meat. The budaejjigae costs 9,000 won, and with unlimited ramen and rice, you can fill up. Unlike other places, they provide buckwheat noodle soup and a boiled egg as a basic meal. The budaejjigae tastes a little different than I'd expect. It feels more like eating ramen with the stew. I think adding a thicker slice of ham would be better. The slices are thin, so the texture and flavor are a bit lacking. Surprisingly, they also have a large selection of side dishes, so there seem to be quite a few extras. The restaurant is larger than expected, and there are plenty of tables. It's usually packed at lunchtime, and the side dishes are all self-serve. And it's a place that's truly welcoming, even for those who eat alone during lunch. Overall, it's a very friendly restaurant.
