About Yongsan-Gu

Yongsan-gu contains Itaewon — Seoul's most international neighbourhood — as well as the scenic Hannam district and Yongsan Electronics Market. Itaewon's food scene reflects its global community: Indian, Middle Eastern, African, and American restaurants share streets with high-end Korean and Japanese establishments. It's also where many of Seoul's foreign chefs have set up their most ambitious projects.

Another recommendation by a local friend (his go to soup restaurant in the area. I’ve been here twice once having the Hangover Pork Rib soup and another time the Boiled Pork soup. If you don’t want. I prefer the first one but both equally gooood! Besides soup they have a few other options like Korean sausage, tripe and cold buckwheat noodles. Like most restaurants, ordering is super simple with English option on the tablet, free WiFi and changing for your battery drained phone hahaha.

They didn’t open upstairs table but kept us waiting street side, fortunately it was only about 10 minutes of wait. I ordered the pork back-bone stew thought it was non-spicy but i was wrong, it tasted good also but really can’t finish the soup…

There’s no better place to eat during the cold than here. Super tasty korean soup and hotpot. Staff is proficient in english.
