This place was full of cocktails that even I, a person who doesn't drink well, could enjoy! The entrance was magical, and the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I'd stepped back in time! Not only do they offer bitter drinks, but they also offer refreshing and sweet, milky drinks. And with a cocktail-making performance, this Bangi-dong bar is a must-see!

This cocktail bar in Bangi-dong operates under the theme of a speakeasy. From the moment you enter, you'll wonder if this is the entrance. The pivot door, with its unique design, has a certain unique feel. The interior is calm and slightly dark. When I opened the door, all the customers seated turned their heads to look at me in surprise. I carefully examined the menu and saw a wide selection of cocktails and whiskeys. The whiskeys weren't much different from what I usually drink at home, so I ordered a cocktail. I was curious about the Old Fashioned, which Don Draper, a character from the American TV show "Mad Men," always ordered, so I ordered it. The whiskey had a pleasant hint of sweetness and orange flavor. My friends also ordered the Negroni and what seemed to be the signature cocktails, the Renaissance and the Florence. While the cocktails were named after the Renaissance, Firenze, and Medici, which was nice, the base liquors were American whiskey and yuzu sake, which was disappointing. But since all the cocktails I ordered were delicious, I figured it's all good as long as they taste good. Since I was already full on my second visit, I only ordered the truffle French fries, but they were so delicious I couldn't stop eating them. The biscuits and cream cheese that come with them are also quite authentic. It's a great place to enjoy good food and chat in a quiet, cozy atmosphere.

Feels a bit like an escape room - props like books being fake. The genuine article rather than props would add much to the atmosphere. That being said, love the nod to speakeasy culture at the entrance, with the door being hidden, and the service and cocktails are top notch. Great selection of whiskies too. I would recommend their signature cocktails over their regular or classic selections as the signature drinks all have a little Heston Blumenthal to them. For example, my drink came in a little treasure chest filled with dry ice and smoke.
