About Seongdong-Gu

Seongdong-gu's Seongsu-dong has transformed from an industrial zone into Seoul's most talked-about food and culture district. Nicknamed 'Seoul's Brooklyn,' it hosts artisan roasters, pop-up restaurants, and concept cafés in renovated factories alongside high-end boutiques. The food scene rewards curiosity — the best spots are often down an alleyway or behind an unmarked door.

What Visitors Say

★★★★★SOYEON CHO11 months ago

A place an acquaintance took me to, saying it’s their favorite spot these days. Since they are open until 2:00 AM, I visited late at night. There are outdoor tables and one window seat available. I heard they are really good at sashimi, so I ordered the assorted platter, maguro yukhoe, cuttlefish sashimi, and fried hairtail. The sashimi was delicious, but the cuttlefish was incredibly chewy and had a texture that was absolutely perfect. Later, they prepared the legs as boiled sashimi. The hairtail, with all the bones removed, was easy to eat and very savory. Every single dish on the menu is somehow as charming as a high-end bar! A place I’ll often go to late at night. A popular restaurant that gets a huge number of delivery orders.
