In Korea, where Google Maps, a favorite among Japanese people, isn't very useful, I'm updating food information for people like me who don't speak Korean. Please like if you find it helpful! This is my first business trip to Korea in four years. Based on price and personal interest, I booked a hotel in Magongnal (Balsan Station), where I lived four years ago. This area has many newly built office buildings and apartments, so there are plenty of restaurants. On my first day, I immediately went into a restaurant specializing in live squid and octopus (my own choice) based on its appearance. The squid body was thinly sliced, and the tentacles were chopped and served live. Korean sashimi is delicious, as expected. Except for the fact that gochujang is served instead of soy sauce... I forgot to take a picture, but they also had thinly sliced flounder. If you ever go to this area, you should definitely try it!

I'd been eating nothing but meat lately, and the weather was just too hot... so I wanted to have a meal and drinks in a cool place. I was looking for a sashimi restaurant and ended up going here with a friend who works at LGU+. As the name suggests, squid is the main dish. We ordered something like a set menu, and a good variety of dishes came out. Was it steamed squid? That was really delicious. The raw squid was decent, and the price was affordable...
