Gyeongbokgung Palace (๊ฒฝ๋ณต๊ถ)
The grandest of Seoul's five royal palaces, Gyeongbokgung was built in 1395 as the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty. Its name means "Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven."

- Geunjeongjeon (๊ทผ์ ์ ): The magnificent throne hall where kings held court
- Gyeonghoeru Pavilion (๊ฒฝํ๋ฃจ): A stunning pavilion over a lotus pond, used for royal banquets

Royal Guard Changing Ceremony
Don't miss the spectacular guard changing ceremony at Gwanghwamun Gate โ daily at 10AM and 2PM (except Tuesdays). Free to watch and a perfect photo opportunity.
Hanbok Tip
Wear hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) and get free admission. Dozens of hanbok rental shops surround the palace โ rentals start from โฉ15,000 for 2 hours.

Best Time to Visit
