Had Budae Yukkalmyeon…spicy and salty with lots of ham and sausages…Rich taste of soup, but felt a bit of MSG…The overall taste is good and a bowl of rice is complimentary.
The basics are always the best: Yukdaejang. It's delicious, the portions are generous, and the sweet and salty broth is superb. 👍
A Yukgaejang (Korean beef soup) specialty chain restaurant Located on the basement floor of J-Platz, just a minute from Exit 7 of Gasan Station, this restaurant offers yukkalmyeon (Korean beef bone soup) for 11,000 won. I'd only ever had yukgaejang at home or in the company cafeteria, and was surprised by the savory flavor and rich broth. I was even more surprised when I tried it with noodles. Personally, I think yukgaejang goes better with noodles than rice. It's especially perfect when paired with oden stir-fry. I recommend it to people who love noodles and oden like me. While the menu varies slightly from store to store, this restaurant offers free rice with every noodle order, so if you choose either, it's definitely the noodles. The broth and savory flavor are both delicious, so even with rice, it's not a bad choice. The restaurant isn't small and has plenty of tables. Of course, you might have to wait a bit during lunch. Weekday evenings seem to be more relaxed. After you sit down at your table and order, you pay at the counter. You basically choose between rice or noodles! The basic flavor of yukgaejang~
