We had lunch here on December 9, 2025, for a gathering of friends.
Exit Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station Exit 3, go straight, turn left while looking at the Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance building, and walk for about two minutes until you reach Yeongdeung Yeongdeungpo Branch.
This is a butcher shop. Here, my group ate garlic-marinated Korean beef short ribs (29,000 won per person, including soybean paste stew and rice or naengmyeon), and then a small bite of sirloin.
The taste was no different from the American short ribs I sometimes eat at Ginkgo Tree Seagull. The price difference is significant, but the taste wasn't as great as the price.
The servers were men. They brought us water bottles as we sat down, but since it was cold and cold water was available, one of my friends asked the server to bring warm water since there were a lot of elderly people there. The server agreed, but there hasn't been any news since. Even as the meal was almost over, the hot water didn't arrive. Unable to bear it any longer, I called the waiter and asked for some hot water before I started eating. When I asked what had happened, they finally brought me a large paper cup with hot water.

점심 메뉴 또한 알차게 구성되어 있어, 바쁜 직장인들도 가성비 있게 즐길 수 있으며, 콜키지 무료 정책은 와인과 함께 고기 한 점을 즐기고 싶은 고객들에게 매력적인 옵션이다.
‘영등’은 그 이름처럼 영등포라는 지역의 정체성 그리고 음식의 본질인 맛, 그에 따른 자신의 이야기까지 모두 갖췄다 이제 영등포구청 인근 외식과 회식의 새로운 대안이 되어간다. 고기를 먹으러 가지만, 한 시대의 감성과 지역적 스토리와 개인의 정성이 곁들여진 함축적인 공간이다.
