If you love lamb, this is a must-visit restaurant.
I love lamb, so I've been to many places like lamb skewers, Sapporo-style lamb restaurants, and fusion lamb restaurants, but Igane's lamb skewers are by far the best value.
1. The lamb skewers are exceptionally generous. 2. If you go early, you can use a coupon to cook your meal. It seems like you always get a free eggplant dish. 3. The side dishes they serve are also excellent.
Today, I had lamb skewers, fried rice, and an eggplant dish.
I was very satisfied👍

This is a lamb skewer restaurant with quite a few locations, mainly around Seoul. The interior is smaller than I expected, but it's dimly lit, and feels a bit like a hotel lounge. There's no oily smell throughout the restaurant, which is a nice touch.
I ordered six plates of roast skewers (250g, 23,000 won). The photo shows two plates. They're already grilled.
So, I tried to line up the skewers with the gears on the turntable, but there were no gears... Apparently, it's magnetic... The skewers rotate using magnetic force, even without gears.
Wow! No odor at all! The meat is big, yet tender and easy to bite into. And juicy!
Looking more closely, I noticed that instead of skewering small pieces of meat, they insert the skewers into chunks of meat, sear them, and then cut them into individual skewers. This is more efficient, and the cross-section is raw, so it probably looks better.
What surprised me was that even when I thought the meat was overcooked, it was still tender. In fact, overcooking it removes the fishy smell and makes it easier to eat.
The eggplant dish (가지요리 ₩20,000) was expensive, and the portion was huge. It was super juicy and hot! It was almost like liquid, or rather boiling water. The seasoning wasn't too heavy, so it was a great break from the skewers. I appreciate that it's not spicy.
The sweet and sour pork (탕수육 ₩21,000) had thick meat and a crispy batter. The seasoning was not only sweet, but also had a slight sour taste. If you're eating meat, eggplant, and sweet and sour pork with a small group, it might be too much for a small group.
I ate a lot, but left a lot of it, so I took it home. I grilled it the next day and was surprised at how soft and juicy it was.
