Japanese cuisine has deep roots in Seoul, shaped by geographic proximity and a long shared history. Seoul-style Japanese restaurants range from affordable sushi conveyor belts and ramen shops to high-end omakase counters. Quality fish is flown in daily, and Korean chefs often put their own spin on Japanese classics — thicker broths, spicier condiments, and seasonal Korean ingredients woven into traditional recipes.
Guro-gu is home to the Guro Digital Complex — a major tech employment hub — which has generated a vibrant lunch culture of Korean restaurants, Japanese ramen shops, and multi-cuisine food courts serving the district's daytime worker population.
This is one of the most delicious and enjoyable places in Asia. We traveled for several months through Japan and China, but only here did we find the best salmon ☺️ Highly recommend trying it!
It's a perfect place to eat sushi in Korea. We've traveled in Asia a lot and this is one of the best places to eat fresh fish. It's worth it actually. Thank stuff for great service
