The place looks very local and old-school, and you can tell they been doing this for long time. This is the kind of restaurant you feel “Seoul real food” vibes. The makguksu was amazing. The noodles is fresh and the sauce/broth balance is perfect — little tangy, little spicy, and super refreshing. It’s not heavy at all, but you keep eating because it’s so addictive. The side dishes also great, especially with the noodles. Service is quick, and people eat and leave fast, like a real local spot. If you are near Dongdaemun, 성천막국수 is a must. また絶対来ます！
As one of the oldest Makguksu restaurants in Seoul (since 1966), it is a restaurant that competes only with seasoning and noodles without any special ingredients. it's good! Bibim Makguksu is more delicious than Mul Makguksu. And be sure to order pork on the side and taste it. If you like Makguksu, this restaurant is a must-visit.
