Korean cuisine (hansik) is built around balance — fermented sides (banchan), a steaming bowl of rice, and a main dish that changes with the season. Meals are served all at once rather than in courses, and sharing dishes at the table is the norm. The depth of flavor comes from slow-fermented pastes like doenjang (soybean) and gochujang (chili), which form the backbone of soups, stews, and marinades across the country.
Seocho-gu — home to Seoul's arts corridor, the Supreme Court, and upscale residential areas — has a refined dining culture to match its address. Garosugil in Seocho is particularly known for its café-lined tree canopy street. Restaurants here tend toward the polished and premium, often with outdoor terraces and wine lists to match.
It features private rooms and a luxurious atmosphere. The meat is cooked perfectly, so you just need to enjoy your meal in style! There is a built-in induction cooktop on the table, which is great because there is no smoke when grilling. The main dishes are delicious too!!!
Say Big Thanks and compliments to the super Friendly Staff. Two oppa gentlemen - one Korean and one Chinese gave us a big help when we got lost going to a pre-booked The Forest spa due to KK days’ mislead navigation. It was on 13 October 2024, before the lunch time start. Korean helped us found the Korean spa name, and found the correct address, called the spa to update our status. While it was difficult to call a taxi via Uber, Chinese staff helped us called a taxi to the spa and gave us some water to release. While I learned how to use K-ride later of my trip. It was regret for unable to dine in this restaurant but my next time will do. Thank you so much. Viewing lots of good comments about the nice staff, appreciations and compliments also giving to the restaurant owner / management team to have trained these supadupa good staff.
