Yeongdeungpo-gu's Times Square mall and Yeouido financial district generate a diverse food scene of department store restaurants, business lunch spots, and the Han River cycling culture that has made outdoor food and coffee culture a fixture of the waterfront.
The place is a bit tucked away, but it’s such a lovely little spot with a makgeolli brewery inside the restaurant. As we were travelling with kids, we just grabbed two bottles of makgeolli — Spring and Autumn — to take away. The manager kindly offered us a tasting and invited us into the brewery area, where he explained the makgeolli-making process. It was such a great experience. Would love to come back and dine in next time!
A great place for makgeolli. The makgeolli is delicious in spring, summer, fall, and winter, each with its own distinct flavor. The side dishes are just so-so. I'll definitely be back.
