Seodaemun-gu houses Sinchon and Ewha — university neighborhoods known for affordable food, vibrant nightlife, and a youthful dining culture. The area is dense with budget-friendly Korean restaurants, late-night delivery options, and cafés that stay open until the early hours. It's a neighbourhood where eating well on a student budget is entirely achievable.
It has the atmosphere of a Japanese izakaya located on the first basement floor. Generally, the portions were small compared to the price, and the taste wasn't to my liking. Assorted Boiled Sashimi: It was decent, but the portion size was as small as you'd expect in Gangnam. Oden Soup: I was hoping for izakaya-level oden soup, but it was just average. The very definition of average. Osaka-style Gyoza: Very disappointing. Additionally, although not pictured, we ordered the 5-piece yakitori set. This was the absolute worst. If it's going to be like this, wouldn't it be better not to even have it on the menu? Furthermore, the restrooms... you really need to pay attention to that. I have absolutely no intention of visiting again.
