I visited Manbok Gukbap, located near Gangdong Station in Gangdong-gu. I was craving a hearty bowl of soup, and my meal exceeded my expectations. I ordered their signature dish, the lamb and sireum soup. The restaurant's greatest charm lies in the fact that you can customize your order to your personal taste. You can adjust the level of spiciness and even the ratio of sireum to meat, allowing you to order the soup that perfectly suits your taste. I chose the spicy version, and the soup wasn't overly spicy. It was deep and savory, with a refreshing, satisfying flavor. Most importantly, the generous portion of ingredients that filled the earthenware pot was impressive. The sireum and sireum were generously prepared, leaving me satisfied until the last spoonful. The portion was generous, but the sireum was plump and fresh, with no gamey odor. It was nice that it was so convenient for eating alone. If you're looking for a hearty and filling noodle soup, I highly recommend stopping by.
