Gwangjin-gu's Konkuk University area has a dense concentration of restaurants catering to students — affordable, diverse, and open late. The area is a reliable destination for budget Korean dining: tteokbokki, kimbap, and pork cutlet restaurants line the streets near the university gates.
This beer pub offers great value for money. It has an indoor smoking area, making it ideal for smokers. The third floor offers large group seating. This pub exudes a nostalgic, old-world atmosphere.
Located slightly off the busy streets of Guui-dong, Good People is located on the second floor. I'm glad to see it's still the same after five years. This bar is probably well-known to locals. It's been in business for quite some time, but it moved to its current location in 2015. The interior is truly reminiscent of the old days. The private atmosphere makes the drinks flow naturally. I'm filled with memories of my ex-girlfriend whom I met eight years ago here, so I'm taking a moment to reminisce.
