Seongbuk-gu is home to Bukchon's quieter neighbour and Seoul's most literary neighbourhood, with independent bookshops and traditional restaurants tucked between old residential alleys. Ssangmun-dong's street food markets and the traditional teahouses of Samcheong-dong are highlights of this culturally rich but less-touristed district.
The landlady is so rude, she deliberately doesn't even give us the lettuce that's provided. I'll be watching to see how much money she'll get by being so stingy.
One of the best meals I've had in South Korea! The owner's service is amazing, and you can serve yourself your own banchan of choice :) We ordered saungan and it was so good! It's a huge portion and very affordable!
Bulgogi is amazing! It gets served boiling hot and just explodes with flavor, and that for a good price too.
