A noodle soup chain
Located on the basement level of Daeryung Post Tower 6, a 3-minute walk from Exit 4 of Gasan Digital Complex Station.
The clear pork gomtang (pork bone soup) costs 9,000 won.
Gomtang and water parsley~
This soup features water parsley, known for its health benefits.
It features thinly sliced tender pork,
and is delicious when dipped in the meat sauce.
There's a recent trend of soup restaurants popping up everywhere,
but this one seems to have differentiated itself by adding water parsley.
However, as a meat lover, I found the portions a bit disappointing.
There are so many soup chains these days that serve generous portions of pork.
Of course, this one isn't the lightest,
but it's a bit disappointing in comparison.
The side dishes are just the basic kimchi and pickled onions.
I personally don't like geotjeori (spicy kimchi), so I'll skip it.
The radish kimchi had a strong, sour flavor rather than a savory one.
Thankfully, the pickled onions were the most acceptable, so I could have had a full meal! You can also refill your side dishes at the self-service bar.
The broth is well-seasoned, which is nice.
It's easy to drink, with no unpleasant odor.
If you mix it with rice, it's a filling meal.
Store & Tips & Overall Review
The store is on the small side, but there are a few tables.
There are two-person tables, so you can dine alone,
but you might feel a little awkward during peak hours.
Ordering and payment are done at the table kiosks.
The menu on the sign is simple, but the kiosk menu
seems a bit complicated, and the food choices are unclear.
I wonder if it's the basic pork broth with water parsley...
The menu seems limited, which is a bit confusing.
They also have a boiled pork menu, so it's a good place to have a drink in the evening.
The store feels like a chain, so it's clean.
