Korean cuisine (hansik) is built around balance — fermented sides (banchan), a steaming bowl of rice, and a main dish that changes with the season. Meals are served all at once rather than in courses, and sharing dishes at the table is the norm. The depth of flavor comes from slow-fermented pastes like doenjang (soybean) and gochujang (chili), which form the backbone of soups, stews, and marinades across the country.
Guro-gu is home to the Guro Digital Complex — a major tech employment hub — which has generated a vibrant lunch culture of Korean restaurants, Japanese ramen shops, and multi-cuisine food courts serving the district's daytime worker population.
A chicken specialty chain. Located a 7-minute walk from Exit 2 of Sindorim Station. A huge half-and-half chicken combo costs 24,000 won, and crispy fried chicken skin costs 6,000 won. Fried chicken. I think it's my first time trying yellow fried chicken, but it's quite crispy. For those who like a crispy, cookie-like texture, this is a great place for fried chicken. The meat itself is delicious, so this is a great place for fried chicken. The huge half-and-half chicken combo doesn't live up to its name, but it was delicious. I'm a seasoned fan, but here, the fried chicken is more flavorful than the seasoned one. The seasoning is a bit harsh, which is a shame. Perhaps because I ate it right in the restaurant, the crispiness was even better. Of course, people with sensitive teeth like me should be careful with this crispiness. The fried chicken skin is also incredibly crispy and comes in a generous portion! It's probably the best value for beer snack. However, I think KFC's taste was a bit more savory. Pickled radish is available for pickling at the self-service bar. Store & Tips & Overall Review The store is on the small side, but there are plenty of tables. Order at your table and pay at the counter when you leave. As befitting a chicken place, they offer a variety of chicken dishes and a decent selection of side dishes. It's a great place for a quick beer. The chicken is especially delicious, which is a bonus. The music playing in the background is a 90s-style, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. It's a great place to catch up with old friends or local friends for a drink.
They said they don't accept gift certificates in-store and only accept delivery or app purchases. I was treated rudely.
