Korean cuisine (hansik) is built around balance — fermented sides (banchan), a steaming bowl of rice, and a main dish that changes with the season. Meals are served all at once rather than in courses, and sharing dishes at the table is the norm. The depth of flavor comes from slow-fermented pastes like doenjang (soybean) and gochujang (chili), which form the backbone of soups, stews, and marinades across the country.
Geumcheon-gu, home to the G-Valley IT district, has developed a food scene driven by its young tech-worker demographic — specialty coffee, quick-service Korean and international options, and after-work drinking culture around Gasan Digital Complex.
I stopped by while looking for lunch near Gasan Digital Complex Station, and it was much more satisfying than I expected. I had the cypress steamed dish for three, and the meat and vegetables were generous and light, making it a great lunch without being too heavy. The subtle cypress aroma enhanced the meat's flavor, and the side dishes complemented it well. The restaurant was spacious and clean, making it a comfortable lunch spot, and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend this place for lunch in the Gasan Digital Complex Station!

While I was looking for a menu that is good for dieters near Gasan Digital Complex Station, I went to the steamed cypress because it looked so delicious. There were so many side dishes, the price was reasonable, and it was so delicious ㅠㅠㅠ The chadol doenjang rice is only 7,000 won, so definitely add it!! It's a great value restaurant in Gasan Digital Complex Station!!
I revisited Meat & Three, a popular restaurant in Gasan Digital Complex. They had many great value lunch options, but I went for the steamed cypress pine nuts, which I enjoyed last time. The ponzu sauce was incredibly fragrant and flavorful, pairing perfectly with the beef brisket and fresh vegetables. Meat & Three has spacious seating and friendly staff, so I'll definitely be visiting again.
