The staff were friendly and kept everything clean and well-stocked. The price was very reasonable for the quality, and I liked that you could just pick what you wanted without rushing. The vibe is casual but neat, perfect for both solo diners and small groups. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Gwanghwamun area and craving good sushi at a fair price! 🍣
I had an excellent dining experience at 동해도 광화문점. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place for both casual meals and business gatherings. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, with a rich flavor that really stood out. The service was just as impressive—attentive, professional, and very friendly, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for high-quality seafood in the heart of Seoul, this is absolutely the place to go. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic, fresh Japanese cuisine.
So it is a conveyor belt sushi place. Sushi are not very good, many of strange variety. Like sushi with grilled bacon. Seriously? Fresh seafood is pretty much salmon and shrimp (cooked). No tuna. I ordered sashimi then. Boy, this was a mistake. I managed to consume two slices of salmon, the rest were chewy pieces I was not able to recognize. Please. Sashimi must not be chewy, it is supposed to be best cuts.
