Dobong-gu in northern Seoul is a predominantly residential district adjacent to Dobongsan Mountain. The local food scene centres on community restaurants and street food vendors rather than tourist-facing establishments, offering an authentic view of how Seoul residents actually eat on a daily basis.
Decent, but a bit boring. While the cooking and spice use are both excellent, it leans somewhat toward sweetness, and without any side dishes to break it up, it can be a bit tiresome. Nevertheless, it's fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber in this area. If you're craving Thai food in the area, it's worth a visit.
It's generally tasty! It's not worth traveling a long distance for, but if you happen to be in the area, you'll likely be satisfied.
