I'm having soft tofu stew in Bukchang-dong for the first time in a million years. The taste is still the same.
The young...? young...? employees are so well-trained that even when it's time to take a break, they politely return to their assigned seats and stand.
I watched them the entire time I was eating... It was so FM-like that I thought, "They don't have to go that far."
From the moment I was shown to my seat, to the moment my food arrived, and until I left the restaurant after eating, it felt like they were 100% following the customer service manual.
The rice cooker... The pot seems to be made of ceramic, and the rice doesn't stick at all... It's practically... like, if you just dip it in water, you don't need to wash it. It's so clean.
The seafood soft tofu stew comes in a small earthenware pot, and I thought, "Oh, there's more!" It's filled with plenty of seafood.
I cracked an egg into it, and it tasted just like I always did.
The grilled fish wasn't properly seasoned, so there was a lot of meat left between the bones, which was a shame, but it was still salty and edible...
It's a great place for solo diners, and the friendly service, cleanliness, and price are all top-notch.
