This is where I first experienced a whole new world of budaejjigae, a stew brimming with green onions.
Personally, I consider it the best budaejjigae, along with the Gaddi Dongnam Budaejjigae (a fresh budaejjigae made by the owner of Dongnam, next to the original Dongnamjip branch—you'll know when you visit).
This is the best place in Seoul.
Like green onion soup, the broth is incredibly refreshing, with the unique flavor of sour kimchi blended with the secret sauce, creating an incredibly rich and flavorful broth.
What's surprising is that the broth tastes like it's made with only water—ㅡㅡ;
So, every time I go, I still wonder what the seasoning sauce is.
They don't add any seasoning, do they?
Anyway, they even serve a fried egg as a bonus.
I've been in Eunpyeong-gu for 23 years, and even if I order takeout, it tastes pretty much the same.
Even my wife, the apex predator in the family, was delighted today, saying it was delicious. Be careful, though.
If you love buyeodaejjigae, this is a restaurant worth visiting from afar.
I admit it!
