An interesting culinary experience in the heart of Seoul – impressive from the food to the technology! The first time I set foot in Korea, I had the opportunity to visit a small restaurant located on a busy street in the capital Seoul. And I must say – it was quite an interesting experience, not only because of the food but also because of the way technology is applied to serve diners here. I ordered a dish that was somewhat similar to Vietnamese pho – hot, slightly spicy broth, served with thick and flavorful ribs. There were quite a few vegetables, mainly kimchi – not unusual in the land of kimchi, where green vegetables are often pickled to preserve and used all year round. However, the dish was still very easy to eat and suitable for the taste. I gave it 4 stars for the flavor. What impressed me most was not the food, but the way this restaurant operates. Instead of having staff take orders like in Vietnam, each table has an automatic ordering tablet. When customers arrive, they just need to press the button, and the system will send it straight to the kitchen. The waiters almost only have to clean up after the customers leave. And in particular, this machine also runs ads - a form of exploiting the location "customers' eyes are always looking towards" quite smartly. In Vietnam, there is also a similar model like Lotte or McDonald's, but I see that the Korean side applies it in a much smoother and more minimalist way. The restaurant space is small but neat, clean and comfortable - I rate it 4.5 stars. The location is very convenient - right in the center of Seoul, easy to get around, easy to find - also worthy of 4.5 stars. Summary: • Food: 4 stars • Space: 4.5 stars • Location: 4.5 stars • Technology experience: 5 stars for convenience and modernity! If you are in Seoul and want to try a dish that feels both familiar and strange, and especially want to see how Koreans apply technology in restaurant operations, this restaurant is worth a visit.
