Gangdong-gu in southeastern Seoul is a family-oriented district known for its community markets and traditional Korean restaurants. Cheonho Market offers one of Seoul's best selections of traditional banchan, grilled fish, and home-style Korean cooking away from the tourist circuit.
Great spot near Cheonho Station for a hearty Korean meal. The 1-person special set was generous with soup, sundae, and boiled pork. The spicy soup was rich and perfect and loved pancake Clean place, friendly staff! highly recommend!
Sponsored // I visited Boseunghoegwan, a famous Cheonho restaurant, at Cheonho Station. Just a one-minute walk from Exit 3, it's incredibly convenient and a perfect meeting place. The interior is spacious and clean, making for a comfortable dining experience. The ample spacing between tables creates a pleasant atmosphere. I ordered a medium-sized bone-gamjatang (pork bone stew) with ramen noodles. The large bones, generously packed with meat, piqued my interest from the moment I saw them. The broth had a rich flavor, a harmonious blend of nutty and spicy perilla seeds. The meat was tender and flavorful, easily scooped up with chopsticks. Adding ramen noodles to the broth allowed the seasoning to permeate the noodles, making it even more flavorful and satisfying. The side dishes were also clean, and the staff were friendly, making for a pleasant meal. If you're looking for a place to eat in Cheonho, I highly recommend this place for a filling meal.
This noodle restaurant is located near Cheonho Station. It's open 24 hours, so you can visit anytime, and there's parking in the back. The noodle soup is varied and generously portioned. The sundae (blood sausage) and boiled pork (boiled pork) are both delicious, so I highly recommend it for both a meal and a hangover cure!
