すべて見る →Chef Jo, a Seoul cake shop famous for its fresh strawberry cake, is one of the top four in the Life Master series. Since I always had strawberry cake, today I had chocolate kirische! A moist, low-sugar chocolate cake with 100% milk whipped cream and generous cherries. The chocolate kirische is topped with rich, delicious chocolate powder, making it perfect for chocolate lovers. Because it's a low-sugar cake, the whipped cream is less sweet, and perhaps because of the creamy flavor, it melts smoothly in my mouth. I sliced the cake and put it on a plate. The cherries were cut into large, whole pieces, giving it a nice chewy texture. My younger brother asked where I got the cake, telling me it was from a famous restaurant in Yeongdeungpo. It was so delicious, he kept asking me to buy more. I think that even if you have to go out of your way to buy a real cake, it's better to buy it from a good bakery. Both the person eating it and the person buying it will feel good.
I made a reservation and visited after hearing it was one of the four kings of Life Master's cakes, and it truly lived up to my expectations! Made with 100% animal-based cream, it's incredibly light and not greasy at all. The cake itself is made with natural yeast, so it's incredibly moist, and the strawberries are fresh. Parking was convenient right in front of the store, so pickup was a breeze. I found the strawberry cake of my life!!!
The strawberry cake was so delicious!! As expected, the combination of good ingredients and fresh strawberries is what makes a Basque Cake!! The whole family enjoyed it very much.
