Banghak-dong Neighborhood Exploration
Wandering the alleyways of Banghak-dong and Ssangmun-dong, you'll find many restaurants that are commonplace yet offer a warm and cozy atmosphere.
This time, I visited #Cheongjindonghaejangguk near Banghak Intersection. It's not a franchise, but a local hangover soup place.
After much deliberation, I ordered #So-naejangtang 😊
I think the sizzling earthenware pot that comes out is a defining characteristic of gukbap.
My aunt said this would be perfect for spicy food, so I chose #So-naejangtang.
I took a sip of the soup and savored it.
Even before I even tasted the ingredients, the rich flavors of the tripe, tripe, and perilla seeds, along with the refreshing, spicy kick, created a rich harmony.
I'm not sure if it's the sweet potato stems that come with the tripe/tripe/nae, but I tried it with soy sauce and wasabi sauce...
Chewy. Crunchy. The intestines, packed with goblin, are truly filling.
While scooping out the toppings, I couldn't help but add rice.
I rolled the rice into balls and took a spoonful. It was so rich and delicious.
The rich flavor of the goblin, the chewy texture of the lamb, the soft texture of the stems, and the rice and spicy broth all played an orchestral tune in my mouth. 🎵🎶🎼
It was delicious!!
